Interesting, I miss read the ad and thought they were for planting in a garden. But they are infarct meant to be sprouted to around 2" and munched down with a salad. Cool idea.
I put two tablespoons of these seeds in a mason jar. I rinsed and drained the seeds twice a day and six days later I had a jar packed full of fresh sprouts. Germination rate was great. I like the texture and taste.
What a nice big bag of sprouting seeds! I started a bunch, and they are all doing great... they really are ready to eat in 5 days. Very high germination rate... I'd say over 95% strouted.
I threw some of these in a tray upon arrival, and they have all popped up - so happy with the freshness and germination rate, looks to be a great batch. It's a quick and easy way to get some greens and their health benefits!
Wasn't sure what to expect, but these sprouts taste amazing! The red kale has a slight sweetness and the alfalfa balances everything out. Ive been adding them to my smoothies and sandwiches. Plus, knowing Im getting sulforaphane and vitamin K in every bite makes me feel like I'm doing something great for my body.
