SPROUTING SEEDS

Step 1

Measure, Rinse & Soak

  • Measure Seeds: 2–4 tbsp per type (check chart below)
  • Rinse Thoroughly: Use cool water
  • Soak: Fully submerge seeds in a bowl, 6–12 hrs (check chart below)

Step 2

Drain & Rinse

  • Drain Completely
  • Rinse Again: Fresh, cool water
  • Drain Well: Remove excess moisture
  • Place in sprouting vessel

Step 3

Sprout & Grow

Guidelines for where to put your sprouting vessel:

☀️ Light-Grown Sprouts (Broccoli, Alfalfa):

  • Indirect sunlight, good airflow
  • Rinse & drain 2–3x daily (check chart for # of days)

🌑 Dark-Grown Sprouts (Mung Beans):

  • Keep vessel in dark (e.g., cabinet)
  • Rinse & drain 2–3x daily
  • Final day: Move to indirect sunlight for 12–24 hrs to green

Harvest Time

Ready when sprouts reach recommended size & color

Step 5

Storage

  • Rinse Well: Remove hulls & unsprouted seeds
  • Drain & Store: Sealed container in refrigerator
  • Best freshness: Enjoy within 1 week
