Organic Superfood Blend Sprouting Seeds

I love sprouts and am always nervous about eating them because of outbreaks of salmonella and e.coli associated with them they are considered a high-risk food in terms of contamination. So when given the opportunity to grow my own, when I can be in control of the growing and harvesting conditions, I decided to jump on it! I still took the time to read up on how to grow and harvest them safely, and recommend that anyone should do the same. Clemson University has a great fact sheet, which includes ensuring that the seeds are pathogen tested, which these claim to be. I washed my hands thoroughly before and during handling, was careful to keep the growing environment clean, and - ta da! Delicious, tasty sprouts. It was so wonderful to be able to enjoy sprouts again. I plan to get more of these to keep on hand to replenish my supplies. I wish I had discovered this brand prior to the pandemic - it would have been a fun pandemic hobby.

Very pleased with this package of mixed sprouts and especially delighted that they were organic, GMO free and grown in the USA. The sprouts do come with sprouting instructions on the back which didn't oddly, didn't work for me and resulted in a low germination rate. The second time around, I tried sprouting my seeds in my usual spot in the kitchen and had about a 90 germination rate. The seeds that didn't sprout were the tiny brocolli and red kale which do seem to require a long soaking time than the rest.The sprouts do taste great and are a great value considering the yield. I recommend.

Were trying to eat healthier and improve rice our micro biome , and greens are a big part of that. This Seedboy Superfood sprouting seeds is an easy and tasty way to increase the diversity of greens we consume each week.I just soaked some of the seeds, tossed them in a jar, put it in the cupboard, and a couple of days later all of them have sprouted! Theyll be fully mature and ready for consumption in a couple more days but what I sampled early tasted goodTheyre certified USDA Organic and non-GMO. I especially like that the variety of seeds are mostly vegetables that I dont normally consume. Overall excellent quality and a good value for the money.

The superfood blend tastes great. Its a little spicy like the taste of arugula, and the seeds started growing 2-3 days after throwing them in my tray, so Id say the germination rate is excellent.

I love the Seedboy Organic Sprouting Seeds Mix Superfood Blend. It has all my favorite Microgreens radish, broccoli, clover and red kale and pak choi is a welcome new addition to my repertoire. My greens are not yet ready to harvest, so I cannot say anything about the taste. But most of the seeds have sprouted and the seedling are growing well. Can't wait to enjoy my first salad with these delicious greens.
