My cat likes to chomp on my houseplants, have decided to train her onto wheatgrass, hoping this pack of seeds will help me save my plant babies! I've had a few come up already even though it's pretty cold in my windowsill (February in the PNW) so I'd say they're going to be great! I followed the instructions and there were a few shoots in a few days, about 10 days to get a few inches long. The packaging is nice, too, and the seeds seem fresh and plentiful. 5/5 stars!
If you research wheatseeds online you will see that they have many nutritional and medicinal benefits. This package gives you plenty of seeds to grow your own sprouts to be ground into powders or used in one of the many other ways they can be added to foods. The package has very clear and complete instructions on how to grow them and this seems to me to be a good bargain for 8 oz of seeds.
My son loves growing things in the window and messing around with anything that he can find. This seemed like an easy option for him, which he's really enjoyed. He was able to plant and sprout this very simply in this window and in a terrarium. We also created a little guy with a pair of old nylons, filled with dirt and made a little face. Add a little seeds on top and he starts growing (sort of like a grass seed chia pet). Love the speed it grows and options for adding microgreens to our diet.
